What is the Priority Services Register?
Being on the Priority Services Register (PSR) ensures that those in vulnerable situations get free support from their energy supplier and/or network operator.
Am I eligible?
You are eligible to be on the PSR if you:
- have reached your state pension age
- are disabled or have a long-term medical condition
- are recovering from an injury
- have a hearing or sight condition
- have a mental health condition
- are pregnant or have young children (specifically under the age of 5)
- have extra communication needs (such as if you don’t speak or read English well)
There may be other reasons that mean you can register. For example, you may require short-term support after a medical procedure.
