How do I top up my pre-payment meter?

You'll need to top up your prepayment meter to keep your energy supply going until an engineer switches you to a credit meter.

You'll get a full refund for every top up, so make sure you get a receipt/proof of purchase every time.

  • Online or via an app.

To top up in a Paypoint store or Post Office:

  • Take your meter card or key to the paypoint.

    • You should have received a key in the post from your supplier. If not, get in touch with us as soon as possible.

  • Take a picture of the receipt and upload to your dashboard for a full refund within 3-5 working days.

If you top up your meter online or via an app

  • Upload your top-up confirmation to your dashboard for a full refund within 5 working days.
