What do I need to do for my Virgin engineer appointment?

You'll only need a Virgin Media engineer appointment if your property isn't already wired for Virgin.

For Virgin Media, you'll only need an engineer if your property isn’t already wired for Virgin or if there is any damage to the sockets.


Someone over the age of 18 must be present at the property during the engineer appointment time slot on the agreed date.


Your engineer will bring your equipment with them so you don’t need to worry about any delivery time slot. If you haven’t already let us know the access requirements please do so as soon as possible so we can pass these to the engineer and avoid an unsuccessful installation. 


For any engineer appointment, if the appointment made is unsuitable, please let us know at least 48 hours before the scheduled installation. We will then try to reschedule the appointment with the supplier. Please be aware that this could cause a delay of up to 2 weeks.
