What do I need to do for my Sky engineer appointment?

You'll need to make sure your at your property on the agreed time slot and date. If you miss your Sky engineer appointment it'll results in a charge of £120.

For Sky Broadband, you’ll always need an engineer to activate the lines at your property. Someone over the age of 18 must be present at the property during the engineer appointment time slot on the agreed date. The engineer may not require access to your property however, they will not know whether this is the case until they have visited the external telephone exchange.

A missed Sky engineer appointment results in a charge of £120.

Your broadband equipment will be sent via DPD to your property. Tracking information will be available from your online dashboard when your equipment is on its way to you.

 

For Sky TV, you’ll always need an engineer to install the services at your property. 

Someone over the age of 18 must be present at the property during the engineer appointment time slot on the agreed date.

Your engineer will bring your TV equipment with them so you don’t need to worry about any delivery time slot.  If you haven’t already let us know the access requirements please do so as soon as possible so we can pass these to the engineer and avoid an unsuccessful installation. 

 

For any engineer appointment, if the appointment made is unsuitable, please let us know at least 48 hours before the scheduled installation. We will then try to reschedule the appointment with the supplier. Please be aware that this could cause a delay of up to 2 weeks.
