What do I do if I haven't received an engineer appointment email?

You don't always need an appointment. We'll let you know if you do.

If you don't hear from us about an appointment, you'll receive a DPD tracking link when your router has been dispatched.

When your router arrives, follow the instructions, plug it in and you should be ready to go! 

When will I need an engineer?

  • Sky broadband:
    Your broadband lines will need to be activated by an engineer.  Check your email inbox, including spam folders, to find your appointment email. 
    • If you haven't received an email please use Live Chat or call our Customer Support team who can help further.
  • Virgin Media broadband:
    You might need an engineer if your property hasn’t been connected to Virgin Media previously, an engineer will need to come to the property to set it up. The team will arrange this for you and you’ll get a text.  
    • The appointment can take between 30 mins to 2 hours.The engineer will arrive in a Virgin Media van and be carrying ID, so they’ll be easy to spot.
  • BT broadband:
    Your broadband lines will need to be activated by an engineer. Please double check your spam folders for this email.
