What do I do if I haven't received an engineer appointment email?

You don't always need an appointment. We'll let you know if you do.

If you don't hear from us about an appointment, you'll receive a DPD tracking link when your router has been dispatched.

When your router arrives, follow the instructions, plug it in and you should be ready to go!

  • If you have chosen Sky broadband within your package, your broadband lines will need to be activated by an engineer, please double check your spam folders for this email. If you have not received an email please email or call our Customer Support team who can help further.
    • If you’ve chosen to add Virgin Media TV to your package or your property has not been connected to Virgin Media previously, an engineer will be required to come to the property to set up - this will have been arranged for you. The appointment usually takes around 30 - 120 minutes in order for the engineer to set your services. The engineer will arrive in a Virgin Media van and be carrying ID, so they’ll be easy to spot.
