FTTP is the fastest type of broadband you can get. The fibres connect directly to your property, which means you get full-speed data all the way!

FTTC, the other type of fibre broadband, which you can get from Sky still uses fibre cables, but the last short stretch from the cabinet (the green boxes you see in the street) to your home is copper, which is slower. This is still much faster than older broadband types, but not as speedy as FTTP, sometimes called full-fibre broadband!
