The cost of your services for the length of your contract is divided by the number of calendar months in your contract.
FYI: All the prices in this article are made up for illustrative purposes.
This is the formula used to calculate your monthly payment:
- The price of your package is broken down into a daily rate
- This daily rate is multiplied by the number of days in your contract
- This amount is divided by the number of months in your contract to get your monthly payment, and scheduled on your preferred payment date.
This amount can change if your chosen utility provider adjusts the price of their services part way through your contract. You'll always get 30 days' notice if this is the case.
How would a supplier price change affect my prices?
A new monthly payment would be calculated by the team to cover the new cost of your chosen services for the time left in your contract.
Example:
If the cost of Service A increased by £25 after you’ve made 4 out of 12 monthly payments, you’d have 8 payments left to go.
- The £25 increase would be divided by 8 to give us £3.13.
- Your 8 remaining monthly payments would go up by £3.13.
Original payment £156.62
Future payments £159.75
